Earlier this year, we traveled to the city of Guayaquil in Ecuador to conduct training and the installation of a range of our Cloudburst Fire Buckets, compressors, long lines, aquadams, and water transfer pumps for the Ecuadorian Armed Forces.

The trip was a great success and in association with our South American representative, Guillermo Toro of GT SAR International, a full course in installation, maintenance, trouble shooting, flight and operational training was carried out with some great results not to mention some extremely satisfied customers.

Fighting Fires With Cloudburst

The Ecuadorian Armed Forces operate a range of Bell 430’s and Indian originating DHRUV helicopters and are now well set up to combat forest wild fires within the areas with the quick set up of the Cloudburst Fire Bucket system, skilled pilots and at least one helicopter on standby 24/7, their response time to any call to assist with wild fire is extremely rapid and accurate.

We also had the pleasure of working with the local fire brigades who will be utilising the two 25,000L aquadams and pumps, and working in conjunction with the Ecuadorian Air Force and Navy on fire fighting projects in the region.
