CLOUDBURST FIRE BUCKET SAFETY NOTICE
FEBRUARY 2020
With a busy fire season in many parts of the world well underway, and with the northern hemisphere fire season looming, the team at IMS would like to take this opportunity to highlight the importance of equipment checks and maintenance.
     READ ON BELOW FOR IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION     
While conducting a service on a Cloudburst Fire Bucket recently, we discovered the velcro sections, which hold part of the top structure of the bucket in place, were so worn they'd completely lost their grip, drastically compromising the structure of the bucket. 

The sole reason for the velcro's bad condition, was time and wear, with the bucket over a decade old and heavily used.

While we put everything we have into manufacturing equipment that's hardy, effective, reliable and safe, it's still the responsibility of the operator of the aircraft to ensure the equipment they're using is in an airworthiness condition every time it's flown.

Our experienced team at our specialised facility in Napier, New Zealand, are available to give clients support and advice around the clock. And, we want to continue to reinforce the point that if you're ever concerned or unsure about any aspect of the equipment you're operating, be it from IMS or otherwise, then you should contact us before further use.
